While it's reserved for festive occasions, I normally find confetti quite "blah." I usually think of it as little more than paper snippets, boring, matte scraps that could easily be mistaken for hole puncher shavings. Therefore, when I feasted my eyes upon the 3-D heart beaded confetti with rhinestones being sold here by U-Design Biz, I was a little taken aback. In a good way!
Since you don't want birds nipping any kind of confetti off the street, I wouldn't recommend having wedding guests throw this stuff as a send-off. However, including a pinch in a favor-sized pinata like the ones described here at Gangsta Bride, can make for a fun and pleasant surprise. The crafty charm of a DIY pinata's exterior won't prepare guests for the dazzling glamour of the confetti within.
