This should be an easy step by step tutorial on how to make a diaper cake. The general concensus is it's the easiest to follow. I'm glad you think so. I tried hard to make it as brief as possible.
Items you will need: 60 diapers (get size 1, not newborn--or you will need a lot more diapers than this), lots of rubberbands, ribbon, embellishments, cake stand, one 8-oz. bottle, one 4-oz bottle.
Instructions on how to made a three-tiered cake made entirely of baby diapers (Pampers, "nappies"). Mothers to be love them. They make a fantastic centerpiece for the gift or sign in table at any baby shower.
I have made another cake of washclothes, hand towels and towels fitting for a housewarming gift and/or bridal shower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1BT_W...

A wedding towel cake is not an actual cake, but rather a tiered towel arrangement that is often used at bridal showers. Make a towel cake out of towels that will serve as gifts to the bride and groom with help from a chef in this free video on wedding cakes.

Your bridesmaids deserve to be pampered! If you're a bride, you probably fully realize this. But jjust in case you need a reminder:
So again ...these ladies deserve to be pampered!
Which is why I love the idea of giving Favor Savings' "Pamper the Girls" set as a gift.
Nothing says, "Thanks for working hard" like a gift centered on comfort and relaxation. This cute-to-the-max set features waffle weave slippers and a cosmetic bag in either white or pink, monogrammed in honor of each of your bridesmaids. All items are machine washable, so your friends won't have to lift an extra finger to care for their gifts post wedding. All they have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy.
You can bid on this great gift set here!
Here’s an easy, yet often forgotten way to keep your wedding costs low:
Rather than writing a very large check for a very elaborate wedding cake, order up an extremely simple design (think smooth, white frosting, a few tiers, and nothing else) and add on the decorations yourself!
Your caterer and florist may very well be willing to add freshly cut fruit and/or flowers to your cake for free. Also, a beautiful cake topper can make all the difference when it comes to your dessert’s design.
Finally, you could place around the base these beautiful wedding cake charms by Favor Savings.
Few brides and grooms today are familiar with the Victorian tradition of tying sterling silver charms to a satin ribbon and placing them under a wedding cake’s bottom layer. Back when this tradition was commonplace, the bridesmaids would pull the charms from beneath the cake right before it was cut. In this way, the charms not only made lovely cake decorations, they also made lovely bridesmaid gifts!
Had I known about wedding cake charms when I was planning my wedding, I surely would have incorporated them into our reception. I’m fascinated by how the concept is traditional yet unique, and I love that each charm brings a different special meaning to the celebration.
Forget the bouquet toss: Favor Savings’ charms are a much better form of telling your bridesmaids' futures. The engagement ring means next to marry, the heart means love is on the way, the bouquet promises a blossoming relationship, the horseshoe foretells of luck in life, the anchor symbolizes hope and adventure, and the key means happiness awaits!

The following scenario will be familiar to many-a-bride:
You're flipping through your favorite bridal magazine, contentedly eyeing the many gorgeous gowns on display, when suddnly, there it is: THE dress. THE one. It's uicsolutely made for you! But wait ...ah yes, there's the hefty pricetag, the inevitable bell knoll of disappointment. "Next!" you think, as you quickly turn the page.
But wait! Such saddened haste is never entirely necessary! Sites like MyEventBid could be selling the thought-to-be-unaffordable dress, of your dreams for less ...much less. Take a look at these beauties, for example:
This satin ivory gown by Mon Cheri Is absolute show-stopper! How I love a touch of gold on a bridal gown. Such a warm glow is a welcome addition to the stark white we're so used to seeing.
Ah yes, I love this dress ...the intricate golden embroidery, the rich ivory satin and the on-trend addition of a belt combine to form pure glamour without going over the top. This dress is formal enough for the biggest of bashes, but would also do just fine at a more casual, intimate affair.
And then there's the train, perfectly complimented by the beautiful scalloped hem. I have to say, I am a real sucker for trains. There's something so regal about the way they follow a bride down the aisle. Having a train was a "must" when I was searching for my own wedding gown.
Never altered or worn, this dress is currently selling at $850 after being purchased for $1,100.
Has this dress struck your fancy as well? Click here to bid on it today!
Justin Alexander is one of my all-time favorite wedding designers. When I made my first trip to the bridal salon, I arrived equipped with print-outs of almost every dress from his current collection.
Justin Alexander's completely unique creations never fail to turn heads.I find this particular design, selling here on MyEventBid, to be especially innovative. The bow-shaped brooch on the neckline is sweet and sexy, yet still church appropriate, and the barely-there pleats give the soft, oyster-colored fabric a chic, modern day shape.
You must visit this dress to check out the pics of its back as well. They are equally, if not more, impressive! You'll find a crisper series of pleats framing an unexpected romantic design.
This particular dress is in perfect condition, has never been worn, and is selling for just $600!
Not the ball-gown type? MyEventBid is also featuring this brand new Maggie Sotterro gown at $300 off its original price of $720. I love the way it's styled in the picture below. The feathered hairpin and the strategically coiled updo definitely evoke an "Old Hollywood" vibe.
Do you have what it takes to slink through your reception in this stunner? I, for one, am definitly falling for its silky, lightweight fabric and the romantic ruching throughout. If you'd like to give this deal an extra look, you can visit it here.
Now, ordering a gown online can be tricky. A dress may look one way in pictures, and another way once you actually have it on. Therefore, if you're considering ordering a discounted dress, visit a bridal salon to try on the style first. The staff will never know you're planning on getting a much better deal elsewhere.
